Newspaper of the Year

Recognizing overall excellence in Pennsylvania newspapers.

The purpose of the Newspaper of the Year contest is to recognize outstanding newspaper work, with the emphasis on overall excellence. This contest is designed to give your newspaper the opportunity to showcase the efforts of your entire staff.

There are many reasons to enter your newspaper in the Newspaper of the Year contest -- from recognition to awards. But perhaps the best reason is the critique(s) you receive. Every entry submitted receives written comments from the judges. Critiques are a valuable tool for improving your product, an essential goal in retaining readers and securing new readership.

The awards are presented at a special luncheon during PNA Annual Convention. Contact Manager of Foundation Services Bev Hendry, (717) 703-3003, with questions or concerns.
