Do you know a newspaper carrier who goes above and beyond his or her responsibilities? Think he or she would appreciate up to $300 in prize money? (That's a rhetorical question.) We've got just the contest for you to thank them for their hard work!
Since 1959, this popular statewide contest has helped newspapers recognize exemplary newspaper carriers and emphasize the positive points of the carrier distribution system. This is a two-part program, comprised of (1) local presentations and (2) statewide selection of youth, adult and senior Newspaper Carrier of the Year.
Each participating newspaper may nominate up to two senior carriers, up to two adult carriers and up to two youth carriers to compete in the statewide contest. The categories are:
- Youth Division: 18 years of age or younger
- Adult Division: 19-54 years of age
- Senior Division: 55 years of age or older
All nominees will be invited to the Luncheon of Champions at the PNA Annual Convention, where winners will be individually recognized and awarded. Contact the PNA Foundation at foundation@pa-news.org, (717) 703-3003, with questions or concerns.
