Online Content Coordinator II

The Sentinel, Cumberland County Pennsylvania's hometown newspaper, is looking for a creative, motivated individual to be an online content coordinator for its Web site, www.cumberlink.com.

If you are an innovative and creative self-starter with strong Web administration skills, editorial sense and a programming background to apply to the maintenance and development of an established, cutting edge product, this position might be for you. In this position you will find yourself in the center of the action in a rapidly-growing business, interacting with members of online, editorial and advertising departments to achieve our local and corporate goals.

The successful candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities from coordinating site content, administrating site features and customizing various aspects of the site.

Successful applicants will have strong editorial skills (grammar, spelling, punctuation), have experience performing administrative website tasks, such as reporting and be familiar with MySQL and PHP coding and development. A two-year degree in an information technology-related field is especially desirable.
